A warning light is on, the car uses more fuel, or it simply behaves differently than usual. Computer diagnostics read what the control unit has recorded, so you can decide where to start. We go through the result with you instead of replacing parts straight away.

What we do

  • Computer diagnostics and reading of fault codes

  • Quick computer diagnostics before you decide on a repair

Helpful to have before you call

  • Note which warning light is on and whether it stays on or flashes.
  • Tell us when the problem started and in what conditions: on a cold engine, after a longer drive, when starting.
  • If the car clearly loses power or you hear an unusual noise, stop driving and call us.

How it works

  1. Step 1: You call us or send a request through the form.
  2. Step 2: We talk through the symptoms and agree on a date, in the order requests come in.
  3. Step 3: We check the car at the workshop and give you a specific proposal for the work.
  4. Step 4: We check in during the work if something new turns up. Pay by card or cash.

We set the scope and cost once we know your car and the work it needs. That is why there is no price list on this site: first a conversation, then a specific proposal.

FAQ

Questions about: Car Diagnostics

Does reading the fault codes tell you straight away what is broken?

The reading points to the area where the control unit detected a deviation. Interpreting it and checking the car is the next step. That is why we talk through the result after diagnostics and only then suggest a repair.

The warning light went off by itself. Does that mean the problem is gone?

Not necessarily. The fault usually stays in the control unit's memory and can be read. It is worth checking before the light comes back on the road.

Do you test the battery before winter?

Yes. We check the battery and the charging system, and replace the battery if needed.
