Brake System: performed by HR Automotive, a single workshop at Minerska 2A in Warsaw. About us

What we do

  • Replacement of brake rotors and brake pads
  • Replacement and reconditioning of brake calipers
  • Replacement of brake lines
  • Brake fluid change
  • Brake system check after a reported symptom

Helpful to have before you call

  • Tell us what you feel: squealing, grinding, vibration, a soft pedal, the car pulling to one side.
  • If the brake warning light is on or the pedal sinks to the floor, stop driving and call us.
  • Say whether the problem is at the front, at the rear, or you don't know.

How it works

  1. Step 1: You call us or send a request through the form.
  2. Step 2: We talk through the symptoms and agree on a date, in the order requests come in.
  3. Step 3: We check the car at the workshop and give you a specific proposal for the work.
  4. Step 4: We check in during the work if something new turns up. Pay by card or cash.

We set the scope and cost once we know your car and the work it needs. That is why there is no price list on this site: first a conversation, then a specific proposal.

FAQ

Questions about: Brake System

Do the rotors have to be replaced together with the pads?

Not always. It depends on the thickness and condition of the rotors. We measure them and tell you whether replacement is needed now.

How often should brake fluid be changed?

Usually about every two years, in line with the manufacturer's recommendations. The fluid absorbs moisture, which makes braking less reliable.

My caliper is seized. Replace it or recondition it?

After checking, we suggest reconditioning if the caliper body is in good condition, or replacement if it is not. We go through the decision with you.
